WINTER WALKS
WINTER WALKS
About the ‘Winter Walks’ portfolio
Cold hands, gaiters, snowshoes, ice cleats, skis, wind chill, ice thickness, avalanche risk and an overall greater focus on safety are all potential considerations on a winter shoot in the Canadian Rockies where temperatures can sometimes reach 40 below. It is our longest season and what a spectacular season it is especially after a fresh snowfall, during a Chinook wind or when breaking fresh tracks in the snow. The landscape is simplified and the low angled lighting produces soft pleasant light all day long. These look great printed on gallery wrapped canvas where snow and softer colour palettes look beautiful. Click through to the print shop to see pricing and available sizes.
